Recover Content with Version Control

Restore deleted or lost content in just a few clicks—no need to start over.

If you’ve accidentally deleted content or want to undo recent changes, version control makes it easy to roll back to an earlier version of your document.

  1. In the upper right corner of your open document, click the three-dot icon.

  2. Click Document history.

  3. In the panel that opens, choose a version from the list on the right.

  4. Review the selected version on the left side of the screen—it’ll open in read-only mode.

  5. When you’re ready to restore, click the Restore version button.

Restoring a version will replace your current content, but you can always return to version history if needed.
