Frase Fair Use Policy

Understand usage limits, restrictions, and what happens if your account is flagged.

Frase’s Fair Use Policy helps ensure platform stability and consistent performance for all users. This applies to all Starter, Professional, Lifetime, grandfathered plans, and any add-ons.

Normal use by a 100% human team—without account sharing—is considered fair use. But if usage falls outside those bounds, restrictions and warnings may apply.

What Counts as Fair Use

Fair use covers individual human users operating their own accounts as intended—no automation, no sharing.

You’re good to go if:

  • You use the tool manually (no scripts or bots).

  • You don’t exceed 80,000 words generated per day.

  • Your login is only used by one person.

If you're on a team, each user will need their own login or workspace access depending on your plan.

What Violates the Policy

The following actions fall outside Frase’s Fair Use Policy and may result in account restrictions or permanent suspension:

  • Using automation to generate content
Running bots or scripts to generate high volumes of content will get your account flagged. If detected, your account will be temporarily locked. Repeat offenses will lead to a permanent ban.
  • Exceeding 80,000 generated words per day
If your content generation exceeds this daily threshold, your account will be manually reviewed. If it's deemed abusive, your account may be frozen.
  • Account sharing
Multiple people using one login—whether casually or through a group buy—violates fair use. These accounts will be locked and subject to review. Ongoing abuse will result in a permanent ban.

What Happens If You're Flagged

If our system or team flags your account:

  • We’ll freeze the account and send you a warning.

  • Once you connect with us and confirm compliance, we’ll reactivate the account.

  • Continued violations will lead to a permanent ban without refund.
